The Hunting Estate Las Majadillas

Welcome to Las Majadillas, our newest partner for luxury driven partridge shooting, located around 35 km North of Seville. 

The Shoot: 

Originally planned as a bull fight breeding operation, this estate and its adjoining territories offers 30 different valleys in 1.500 hectares, providing most challenging drives amongst centenary evergreen oaks, cork oaks, low veld and pastures. 

Guest will enjoy the best Andalusian hospitality at Las Majadillas Lodge and its great bull fight ambience, 10 double rooms with en-suite bathroom, large trophy room, traditional patios, swimming pool, orange gardens, bull-fight arena, horse stables... 

The Estate offers traditional driven red legged partridge shooting with loader & secretario and double gunning. There are 40 different and challenging drives – some of them with very challenging birds. Here you can shoot any bag between 600 and 800 birds per day with a team up to 10 guns. Because of the special  weather conditions in this region, we will run the season from end of October 2023 until early March 2024.  

We can shoot up to 3 back to back days without repeating drives. Thanks to the great climate of the south of Spain, partridges are easily adapted to the territory requesting less time in the pens.    

Program: 

We think that a group up to 8 guns for 2 days shooting with a 2 or 3 night accommodation is a perfect set up. Ideally the groups will arrive at the Seville airport. After a short transfer ( 40 minutes ) to Las Majadillas and the check inn, we are starting with some well-earned welcome drinks, a short introduction to the Lodge and the bull fighting areas surrounding the Lodge. The evening ends with a nice welcome dinner and some night cups… 

The next day starts with a good breakfast, the gun distribution, the drawing of the pegs and the introduction of your loaders and secretario. We are then leaving the Lodge for the first 3 drives in the morning, with drinks and pata negra ham served in between drives. A delicious tapas-meal is waiting then on the high hills with stunning views. 

We will have 2 more drives in the afternoon. Back at the Lodge patios it´s time to relax, enjoy the pool, or a private bull fight exhibition at Las Majadillas' arena. Diner to be served at guests preference, enjoying best quality cuisine with fresh products. 

On the second day we will shoot with the same format as previously; in the afternoon then, return to the airport to catch your return flights home, or you can stay one extra night at Las Majadillas, or even in Seville to discover this unique city and all its history. Alternatively, we can also organize a traditional Monteria (driven big game hunt) for wild boars, stags, mouflons, etc.  

Your hosts, Carlos Rua and Enrique Valdenebro have a joint experience of over 60 years developing and organizing quality driven shoots; and with the help of a committed team of keepers and staff this new shoot at Majadillas will certainly become one of the most popular shooting destinations in Europe.
