On the shores of the Panara River and the San Javier River you find some of the best Duck and Partridge shooting in Argentina. If your dream is to go on a hunt that is unlike any other we have a lot in store for you. In Argentina we are offering 4 unique and luxury Lodges for Dove, Pidgeon and Duck shooting.
Dove Lodges La Zenaida & El Paraiso
The Lodges has around 25 shooting fields which are in walking distance to our own property, or at a short drive through the region’s rich farmland. The overwhelming amount of birds flying restlessly all day long ensures great opportunities for non-stop shooting suitable for all skill levels. Beginners have an unparalleled chance for improving their shooting skills aiming at low flying doves, while more experienced shooters find higher and faster targets quite a challenge.
Pidgeon Lodge Montaraz
The 50 square mile radius (80 km) around the lodge is annually inhabited by over 5 million pigeons. The lodge enjoys around 20 shooting fields all within a scenic drive through the region. Pigeons are large and fast, which makes calculating speed a little bit deceptive. They work excellently with decoys and we ensure one freshly built blind per hunter. Decoys are strategically deployed around the blinds and at a suitable distance. Staying hidden and still in a good blind is the key to success.
In the field you will be assigned a bird-boy who will provide you with shot shells and refreshments, direct you to your shooting blind and help you load your gun. They have radio communication and can solve problems rapidly. You will be constantly visited by your main guide who will be available to assist you with any need, even give you some tips on shooting if required.
Partridge & Duck Lodge Veracruz
At Veracruz you can hunt different species of ducks depending on the time of the year, the rosy billed and whistling ducks being the most common, along with some teals.
Duck shooting features comfortable and well camouflaged blinds; quality specie-specific decoys and guides who will place you where you need to be to get the kind of duck hunting you've only dreamed of until now. The shooting occurs on the shores of San Javier Rivers, over some of the hundreds of islands or over rice fields. We shoot twice a day, morning and evening, and there is plenty of time to relax at midday. Depending on the skills of the shooter, the limit of 30 ducks per hunt can be reached in 30 to 45 minutes. Flocks of 20 or 30 ducks are not rare. Most days, duck hunters return to the lodge for lunch and a siesta before afternoon departure at about 3pm for evening duck hunts. Evening hunts last until dark.
Perdiz over dogs is a great choice to hunt. They are fast and challenging. Britain’s or German shorthair dogs hunt with us. We normally arrange 2-3 walks during the day.
We will arrange tailor made trips regarding your vision. Please ask for a non-binding proposal.
